PAYMENT POLICY

Method of payment:

  • Master / Visa & Diners cards are accepted.
  • Debit Cards & cash ( no cash is kept on the premises )
  • Electronic Bank Transfers, 1 to 2 working days are required to allow for funds to reflect & to be confirmed.
  • Credit Notes – the original credit note with a copy of your ID is required at the time of the credit note redemption.

COLLECTION POLICY

Should goods be paid for and collected at a later date, the original invoice will be retained by Direct Deals with a copy of your ID and details, a copy of the invoice will be supplied to you, on collection of goods the copy is to be presented with a copy of your ID.

PURCHASING A TV

When purchasing a Television a valid SABC TV Licence is required with a copy of your ID & address details. Should you not be in position of your valid TV Licence, we are able to assist by validating your details with SABC, provided you have a copy of your ID and have all the necessary details as requested by SABC.

Should you not have a SABC TV Licence you may purchase a new TV Licence from Direct Deals, a copy of your ID is required at a cost of R 250.

REPAIR GUARANTEE POLICY

Please ensure that you retain a copy of your invoice, in order to validate your guarantee.

All items sold by Direct Deals have a minimum of a 1 year guarantee either by the Local Agent or by Direct Deals.

At Direct Deals we understand that returning products is often a frustrating experience, but Direct Deals strives to make the process a simple & straight forward one.

Should an item you have purchased unfortunately become faulty, we recommend the following steps:

1) Call the relevant manufacturers in the first instance, if you experience any difficulties operating a product purchased. The Manufacturer’s warranty card is normally in the box and can be found with the instruction manual, should you not have this warranty card, then please contact Direct Deals store for assistance by phone or in person.

2) Should you elect to return your item purchased, please ensure that all the original packaging materials, manuals and accessories are with the product.

3) Should you have purchased the product within 14 days, your product will be exchanged for a new product of the same make and model, provided that the product has not been misused or damaged due to negligence.

4) Should the item become faulty after the 14 day period, the item will be booked in for a repair, where every endeavour is made to return the item within a maximum period of 14 days from date of repair.

5) It’s Direct Deals policy NOT to have Service Departments, and allow their Valued Customers the highly frustrating task of queuing, instead at Direct Deals when returning a product to the store please identify the product to the Security at the door, on entering the store, once this is done please proceed to the till point, where you will be assisted and dealt with promptly.

*Please note:

That some of the items sold by Direct Deals may be a direct imported product, whereby the local distributor for that product is under no obligation to honour the warranty or service that product, Direct Deals honours the full guarantee period on these directly imported products, where in some instances will replace faulty products with new or will repair the product with their accredited Repair Agent Mastertronics who are based Nationally throughout South Africa.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note the guarantee does not cover the following:

1) Loss of a product caused by theft.

2) Lightning or electrical surge damage.

3) Damage caused by misuse, negligence or abuse.

4) Damage caused by mismatching of components, i.e. speakers mismatched with amplifiers, incorrect installations.

5) Accessories and consumables are not covered by the guarantee.

6) Physical damage and regular wear and tear.

7) Insect infestation, liquid, dirt or dust damage.

REPAIR POLICY

We regret no cash refunds, should an item be returned within 7 days of purchase within its original packaging & has not been used with prove of purchase, a credit note will be issued, which will be valid for a period of 6 months from date of issue.

Direct Deals highly recommends that when purchasing of electrical products, that lightning, surge protectors be applied & that the collect wall brackets, desk mounts are used to mount LCD’s, Plasmas, LED’s. At Direct Deals we are committed to Service Excellence.
